Finished #Paprium tonight. This is a really fun beat’em up. The last stage though didn’t feel very last stagey to me though. I wasn’t paying attention and was expecting more. I played through on hard mode which was the default. It wasn’t that hard if you have beat’em experience. Still was incredibly well done. #retrogaming

Solo un dubbio … data la potenza della cartuccia direi che questo non è un gioco per megadrive.

Da diverse settimane si parla molto del gioco #paprium per #sega , ma la domanda che mi pongo è? Con una potenza hardware aggiunta all’interno della cartuccia , possiamo ancora vederlo come un gioco per #megadrive oppure trattasi un gioco , graficamente stupendo , ma per una console superiore . Fino a quando possiamo dire che si tratta di un gioco per retro console , quale sarebbe il limite se esiste? Espansione memoria? Chip audio , chip grafici ? Foto prese da internet @giochi

If you don’t know what Paprium is, it’s a scandal ridden Genesis / MegaDrive homebrew. Most backers never got their shit. It’s a whole ass story:

But the ROM was recently dumped and the game made to work in some emulators and now the Mega EverDrive Pro. They used a custom co-processor which was an issue getting it to work and why it won’t come to most flash carts; the Mega EverDrive is using it’s FPGA to mimic the coprocessor.
