Happy to spot the Malayan (Megisba malaya sikkima) at the Pandan River, Singapore, on 14 Aug 2019. The last time I got a shot of it was in 2016.
The Malayan is a small, moderately rare butterfly in Singapore. I saw it fluttering on the ground and decided to take a closer look. What I saw got my heart excited. :-)

(Pt. 1) I haven't spotted the Crow (Euploea sp.) butterflies in Singapore for a few years. So, more than happy to see three of them at the Butterfly Hill at Pulau Ubin on 3 Aug 2019: the Striped Blue Crow (Euploea mulciber mulciber), the Striped Black Crow (Euploea eyndhovii gardineri) and the Dwarf Crow (Euploea tulliolus ledereri). :-)

(Pt. 1) The Butterfly Hill at Pulau Ubin, Singapore, was full of Glassy Tigers on 3 Aug 2019. Most were Blue Glassy Tigers (Ideopsis vulgaris macrina) [first pic] with a few Dark Glassy Tigers (Parantica agleoides agleoides) [second pic].

(2/2) You can see them in the three photos included in the post, which is helpful to distinguish between them. The Plain Tiger is, of course, plain and does not include the black lines on its wings which are present on the Common Tiger. The Black-veined Tiger looks like the Common Tiger, but has a bigger dark margin on the border of its wings.

(1/2) Went to Pulau Ubin, Singapore, this morning and the Butterfly Hill there was teeming with butterflies and I managed to get photos of the three Danaus sp. (Tiger) butterflies to be found in Singapore. These are the Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus chrysippus), the Common Tiger (Danaus genutia genutia) and the Black-veined Tiger (Danaus melanippus hegesippus).

This is very cool. The Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui) is a common migrating European butterfly species. Yet one has just been spotted in Singapore, where it is listed as a "Very Rare Seasonal migrant".

A nice surprise. A Palm King (Amathusia phidippus phidippus) spotted at Pasir Ris Park, Singapore, on 20 May 2019. This one was hanging about on the tree just outside the toilets at Carpark C.
The Palm King is a moderately rare butterfly in Singapore and usually active in the evening, so seeing it in the morning at the park was unexpected.

A Painted Jezebel (Delias hyparete metarete) spotted on the ground near the Pandan River, Singapore, on 4 April, 2019 in the morning. It appears to be drinking from the dew on the grass.
This butterfly usually flies high in the canopy, so I seldom gets clear shots of it. Seeing it on the ground was an unexpected opportunity.

Another great sighting to end 2018. Two Common Bluebottle (Graphium sarpedon luctatius) caterpillars spotted at Mount Faber Park, Singapore, on 29 Dec 2018.
They are at different caterpillar growth stages, hence the different colours and shapes.

The Common Bluebottle (Graphium sarpedon) spotted at Fraser's Hill, Malaysia, on 20 Nov, 2018.
A large and fast butterfly that can be challenging to shoot as it is constantly on the move, except when feeding. Even then, it's wings keep fluttering and it fidgets on the spot. Pretty too.
