A couple of years ago while optimizing Villagers for Minebench.de I contributed the ability to configure the rates at which the behaviors and sensors of entities are ticked to the open-source Paper Minecraft server software in order to allow adjusting those for Villagers which could take up quite a large amount of time of the server's tick simply by searching the world every few ticks.
In order to get which behaviors and sensors a Villager used I originally included the names and their default rates in the timings performance profiler which Paper had built-in. Unfortunately since then they removed it in favour of including the Spark profiler directly inside the server which made it a bit more difficult to figure out the behaviors and sensors which cause a performance impact and their default rates.

It has been zero days since we found a bug in the Minecraft server: https://github.com/PaperMC/Paper/pull/13395 (Noticed by a player on @Minebench and I found the cause for the issue. Mojang silently fixed it in 1.21.11 already though)

Seeing as Waterfall is now officially deprecated I've updated my Snap plugin with which you can run (some) BungeeCord plugins on Velocity to Velocity's current 3.3.0 version: https://github.com/Phoenix616/Snap/releases/tag/1.2-pre1

I am trying to backup the data directory of a #Minecraft #PaperMC #Server running as #Docker #Container, but accessing those files from #Duplicati running as Docker Container fails.
The more I read (Docker documentation, Github issues, Stackoverflow entries), the more I get confused.
Do you have any tips on what I should read?
Update: I think I found the solution for the issue. Still not an expert, but it works.

Playing on #minecraft 1.20.2 #papermc and my mob drop farm stops working once a second player joins.
Its a classic "mobs spawn on platforms with trapdoors next to them and walk off into water and fall down a chute" design.
I have read something about mobs spawning "between players" now? Is that a thing? plz halp!
