For one year of running my English-version website, I've noticed many readers online preferred PDF rather than ePub format. I first opened my Panzer Dragoon fanfiction on the ePub and HTML files, and after one year then, the PDF version was uploaded. DL numbers of the PDF ver. were about 30 times the sum of ePub & HTML ones.
By the way, the first PDF version needed more tuning to look like a usual commercial book.
