Happy to share our new comment in The Lancet on the promise and compromise of the WHO #PandemicAgreement for spillover prevention and One Health — which would be the first binding international agreement to include such obligations. My co-authors and I explore the challenges of pandemic prevention, the importance of global cooperation, and the need for equitable implementation, and discuss solutions grounded in the legal text to overcome outstanding gaps in the negotiations in their last crucial days.
