  1. Whatever happens next with the campaign for the legalisation of assisted dying, perhaps the most positive thing to come out of the recent debates & legislative deliberations, is a wider recognition of the vital & positive role of palliative care.

    For both sides, I hope that while they may disagree on the legislative aspect(s), a renewed emphasis on palliative care & its expended funding (if it appears) will be seen as a good result....

A documentary about medical aid in dying does the most good when the people who need it most can actually watch it, and now “Take Me Out Feet First,” the documentary series developed with Compassion & Choices, is available for free on YouTube. Season 2 has been announced and is set to premiere on the same channel next year.
