Le régime iranien continue à appliquer la peine de mort.
En moyenne il ya deux à trois exécutions par jour ( 940 en 2024 ).

Pakhshan Azizi is at risk of execution following a grossly unfair trial by an Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tehran.
The Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic has upheld the execution sentence for Pakhshan Azizi, a Kurdish social worker and Iranian political prisoner held in Evin Prison, Tehran, Iran.
#PakhshanAzizi was sentenced to death and four years in prison on charges of "rebellion against Islamic rulers through membership in opposition groups"
Regime's Security officials accused her of belonging to Kurdish groups engaged in armed activities against the Islamic Republic. However, her lawyer stated that her work as a humanitarian in northern Syria—particularly in refugee camps in Sinjar and other camps for those displaced by ISIS—was peaceful and entirely focused on relief efforts, devoid of any political motives.
This death sentence is an example of the Islamic Republic's use of capital punishment to silence people and to terrorize its opponents.
Islamic Revolutionary Courts were created in Iran shortly after the 1979 Islamic Revolution to adjudicate cases involving national security, narcotics, political crimes, and offenses against the Islamic state. Revolutionary Courts have a dark history, marked by mass executions of political activists from various groups during the first decade of the Islamic Republic's rule in the 1980s.
