Sometimes gardening is for the birds, and I planted some bok choy.
I noticed lots of bird damage on half the radishes and all the peas. There's been a roaming herd of white-crowned sparrows hanging around. The bird feeder was empty so I took it down yesterday, maybe this is their protest message.
Planted most of the bok choy that was in small pots. about 18 plants of both types.

We have bok choy, or pak choi, in 2 days! Not on the heat, just under the lights.

Die #Kohlrabi sind bereit zum Vereinzeln. Weiß noch nicht, ob ich erstmal eine größere Schale nehme, wie beim Pak Choi, oder gleich eigene Töpfe.
Ich versuche den #Stromverbrauch in Grenzen zu halten, damit die #Balkonsolaranlage möglichst viel kompensieren kann. Das geht natürlich nicht früh und abends. Also weniger LED ist aktuell noch mehr. 😁Wer mit einem #Balkongarten starten möchte, hier mein #Buchtipp:

Estamos tristes hoy porque debido a las lluvias ☔☔☔ tan intensas, se ha comenzado a soltar agua de la presa de El Atazar, lo que ha provocado el desbordamiento del río #Jarama y se nos ha inundado la #Huerta. Con todo lo que ello conlleva de cultivos, herramienta y maquinaria. 😪
Os seguiremos informando.

¿Hoy toca invierno o primavera? 🤔
Si nos fijamos en el #LunesDeCestas podría ser invierno. Pero incluye unos #pakChoi morados que como estaban en el invernadero, con los calores se estaban subiendo a flor y ha habido que cosecharlos antes de tiempo.
