#RENFE 🇪🇸 269-902 is seen here working the #Gijón portion of a daytime #Talgo originating in #Barcelona and composed of #TalgoIII stock. These cars were built in the 1960s. I very much like their design and colour scheme. Picture taken with the permission of the lovely train crew at #Busdongo station on the #Pajares line in April 2007.

While there is no news yet about the announced Alvia service from/to #Avilés 🇪🇸, tomorrow a new bus shuttle service "Lanzadera Alta Velocidad" will be introduced, smiliar to FrecciaLink in Italy. A second line runs to #PolaDeLaviana via #ElEntrego.

Photos I’ve taken at #León 🇪🇸 station in April 2007: pictured here is the daytime #RENFE #Talgo service from #Barcelona. The consist composed of #TalgoIII stock will split here into two: the front part, named #Finisterre, will continue to #Coruña or #Vigo (depending on the day of the week) and the rear part will travel over the #Pajares Pass, as #Covadonga, to #Gijón.
