On three occasions I have been to various shops to purchase OTC #painkillers (I managed to somehow hurt my left foot / toe to the point I was having difficulty walking - thankfully it is recovering now).
These shops (two Tesco branches and East of England Coop) were fully sold out (at least of the cheaper brands). So two separate supply chains..
consider that bulk purchases are restricted in England (as self-harm/suicide prevention method) - there must be a *lot* of different folk unwell at the moment (maybe taking them for chronic pain as they are having difficulty sourcing anything stronger, or accessing GPs?)
