Why does implementing signed kernel modules on Arch require a custom kernel? I understand the chain of trust, but there should be some easy way to "enroll" a trusted cert or key or something with the standard kernel vs. having to build your own. What a #PainInTheAss but... it's #StillBetterThanWindows 😉

Der Versuch, #logseq Notizen über #icloud zu synchronisieren ist dann doch auch eher #painInTheAss, was wohl auch daran liegt, dass #macos und #ipados unterschiedlich mit dem #iCloudDrive umgehen…

@andreas_heitmann I guess I got used to expecting the machine to automatically reboot after granting some grace time to interrupt this. For me, it’s nice to be able to go do something completely different while the update runs w/o my attention. A matter of taste. I haven’t given this a thought ever since 1992. I‘ve also experienced #Windows #Hell in an enterprise environment since about the same year — call that an awful #PainInTheAss if ever there was one when it comes to not fixing things.

When you have friends help you organize your pantry and spice rack down to the letter, you plan on using pumpkin spice for something down the road and she throws it out because she doesn't like it. Ich habe mal in den #haushaltplan2024 reingeschaut und einfach 2020 gegenübergestellt. Absolut nicht meine Materie und 3300 Seiten sind #PainInTheAss aber ... Hochschule kostet mal eben doppelt so viel und Geld für Schülerförderung reduziert auf beinah 1/4 finde ich "interessant". Wird wohl seine Gründe haben aber ... äh?

Using #Tidal on a 16G #iPhone 6s is a #painintheass.
The app makes temporary movie (!) files and fills up all the storage space eventually.
Yes, you can delete the files from Settings > Storage – but only one by one.
Yes, there are cleaner apps available, but they ignore these files, since they’re ”downloads”, not visible in Photos for example.
No, I’m not gonna upgrade the damn phone. I’m perfectly happy with the damn phone. I just don’t use Tidal on the damn phone.

Schuhe kaufen mit Schuhgröße 48, breiten Füßen und dann im Idealfall noch vegan ist ein einziger Pain in the ass. Ich habe bestimmt 12 Schuhläden in Hamburg durch, bin von meinem Vorsatz vegane Schuhe zu kaufen ab und habe Schuhe im Wert von fast 1000€ bestellt und wieder zurück geschickt. Nichts passt. Nicht mal die, die mir nicht gefallen.
Ich hasse es.

It's so frustrating sometimes that Jetpack forces you to use the WPcom interface. It can't communicate with a site that's very legitimately hidden (in development) so you simply can't test things properly.
Case in point: why can't I add my social networks within WP Admin and set up the sharing buttons inside my site?
