I thought pro Pahlavi supporters can't get any more disgusting than waving Israeli flag and calling for bombing of Iran.
Last weekend, they participated in a street protest wearing t-shirt with the flag of SAVAK, the notorious secret service of Shah of Iran, famous for some barbaric torture of opposition group activists. One of the torturers was a man known as Tehrani. Famous for his favorite method of putting the feet of prisoners in cooking oil and heating it up until it boiled and pulling out their finger nails and hanging them with their hands on thei back for hours.
Demonstrators were carrying his picture as their hero. It is truly disgusting.
PS.most of the people look indian to me. It's possible they were paid to participate.

Iranische Anarchisten: Der Aufstand ist „echte Selbstorganisation durch einfache Menschen“
Interview mit Mitgliedern der Anarchist Front, einem Kollektiv, das Informationen über Ereignisse im Iran, in #Afghanistan und #Tadschikistan verbreitet
Der Aufstand im Iran dauert nun schon über eine Woche an. Es ist nicht nur ein wirtschaftlicher Protest, sondern auch eine praktische Revolte gegen die gesamte Logik der Staatsmacht. Die Menschen haben die Kontrolle über die Straßen gestört, die Symbole der Unterdrückung zerstört und sich den Kugeln entgegen gestellt. Das ist genau #Anarchie in Aktion: Lähmung der Regierungsmaschinerie von unten, ohne dass eine sofortige Ablösung durch eine neue Macht nötig ist.
Das Regime reagierte mit direkten Schüssen, #Razzien in Krankenhäusern und #Massenverhaftungen, doch die #Niederschlagung ist bisher gescheitert. Sporadische und flexible Taktiken (Autos anzünden, Kameras zerstören und Einsatzwege blockieren) haben die Macht vom Zentrum an den Rand verlagert und Raum für echte Selbstverwaltung geschaffen: #Massenspenden, Verteidigung von Krankenhäusern und direkte #Informationsverbreitung ohne Zwischenhändler.
Um mehr zu erfahren, haben wir einige Fragen an die Anarchist Front geschickt, ein Kollektiv, das Informationen über Ereignisse im #Iran, in Afghanistan und Tadschikistan verbreitet.
Wie groß ist die Unterstützung für die Streiks in der Bevölkerung?
Die Unterstützung für radikale #Streiks und #Proteste im Iran ist extrem weit verbreitet. Von den zweiunddreißig Provinzen des Iran haben nur zwei oder drei nicht an diesen Streiks und Protesten teilgenommen.
Wie würdest du den aktuellen #Generalstreik im Iran charakterisieren? Was hat den #Streik ausgelöst?
Derzeit finden Streiks und Proteste gleichzeitig statt, und die Situation eskaliert rasch. Was als friedliche Schließung des Großen Basars von Teheran durch Ladenbesitzer begann, wurde gewalttätig, nachdem Sicherheitskräfte eingriffen. Von dort aus breiteten sich die Proteste schnell auf Städte im ganzen Land aus.
Im Zentrum dieser Unruhen stehen unerträglicher wirtschaftlicher Druck und eine galoppierende Inflation, die das tägliche Leben für große Teile der Gesellschaft unmöglich gemacht haben. Die ersten Streiks entstanden unter Handyverkäufern, ausgelöst durch das Chaos schwankender Wechselkurse und die explodierenden Kosten für importierte Waren.
Diese Proteste sind vollkommen spontan und selbstorganisiert. Es gibt keine Führung, keine politische Fraktion, die sie lenkt, und kein zentrales Kommando, das Befehle erteilt. Das ist Wut, die direkt von der Basis kommt.
Gleichzeitig versucht der Sohn des ehemaligen iranischen Königs erneut, aus der Situation Kapital zu schlagen. Wann immer im Iran Proteste ausbrechen, beeilt er sich, sie als seine eigenen zu beanspruchen. Zwar hat er einige Anhänger im Land, doch der Großteil seiner Anhängerschaft lebt im Ausland. Abgesehen von den #Royalisten haben Jahrzehnte der Unterdrückung durch die Islamische Republik die Möglichkeit, dass andere organisierte Oppositionskräfte im Land entstehen, praktisch zunichte gemacht.
Wie werden die Proteste organisiert und welche Gruppen versuchen, davon zu profitieren?
Diese Welle begann mit der Schließung von Märkten als Reaktion auf den katastrophalen Zusammenbruch des Rial, extreme Inflation, steigende Steuern und die völlige Unfähigkeit des Regimes, die Wirtschaftskrise zu bewältigen. Sie verwandelte sich rasch in aufgestaute Wut gegen die gesamte Machtstruktur. Slogans wie „Tod für #Khamenei“ und „Basij, Sepah, ISIS – ihr seid alle gleich“ spiegeln die Tiefe dieser Wut wider.
Die eigentlichen Ursachen sind der totale wirtschaftliche Zusammenbruch des Regimes, der auf systemische #Korruption, massive #Militärausgaben und ausländische #Sanktionen zurückzuführen ist. Sanktionen sind jedoch lediglich ein Vorwand, den das Regime nutzt, um #Unterdrückung zu rechtfertigen.
Die Organisation ist weitgehend horizontal und dezentral: über soziale Netzwerke, lokale Aufrufe von Basarhändlern und die organische Ausbreitung der Wut auf der Straße – ohne zentralen Anführer oder leitende #Partei. Genau darin liegt ihre Stärke: echte #Selbstorganisation von einfachen Menschen gegen die Herrschaft.
Doch genau hier liegt die Gefahr. Exilierte Oppositionsgruppen – insbesondere Royalisten, die mit Reza #Pahlavi verbündet sind – sind auf den Plan getreten und versuchen, diesen Volksaufstand zu kapern. Durch Aufrufe aus dem Ausland streuen sie Slogans wie „Lang lebe der Schah“ ein, um die Proteste in Richtung der Wiederherstellung einer weiteren Erbmonarchie zu lenken – einer, die früher das Volk durch die #SAVAK und blutige Unterdrückung zermalmte und nun versucht, die Macht durch diplomatisches Lächeln und leere Versprechungen zurückzugewinnen.
Neben diesen Gruppen unterstützen auch #Anarchisten, Teile der #Kommunisten, Teile der #Liberalen und #Republikaner diese Bewegung und hoffen, vom Sturz der Islamischen #Republik zu profitieren.
Unterdessen versuchen Teile der Islamischen Republik selbst, diesen #Aufstand als interne reformistische Bewegung darzustellen, um das Regime in abgewandelter Form zu erhalten.
