PS: avrei dovuto limitarmi alla sola seconda frase… ma mi son lasciato prender dalla tentazione di continuare con la terza.

After I became a proofreader, my dad gave me this reference book, which belonged to my grandmother who I never met. She traveled to New York to attend Katharine Gibbs School in the 1930s and later became a chief administrator at Duke Hospital.She must have used this book quite often. It is worn and filled with her handwritten notes. I wish I could have connected with her as a fellow word nerd.

J'ai envie d'essayer un truc de hashtags, voilà l'idée, un peu sur le modèle de #page42 : poster des bouts de textes sélectionnés non pas vraiment aléatoirement, mais en fonction du repérage d'un mot ou d'une expression-clé. Ça fait un effet de demi hasard.
Par exemple, moi ça fait quelques mois que je collecte plein de bouts de textes où l'expression "nulle part" apparaît. Alors forcément, ils sont tous liés par un genre de thématique commune (très abstraite cependant). Mais en même temps, ils disent tous des trucs complètement différents. Et l'ensemble commence à me fasciner : il y a cet effet d'inventaire, mi cohérent mi aléatoire, quasi poétique, comme un genre de sésames imprévus pour entrer dans les textes (ou dans un seul grand texte bigarré parlant de "'nulle part").
Maintenant, quand je lis, les "nulle part" me sautent à la figure.Bref voilà, à voir. J'imagine que je vais essayer de poster ça ici, sous le hashtag #NullePart. Et peut-être avec un hashtag parapluie, si d'autres sésames trouvent preneur mais faudrait trouver quoi.
