Seit zwei Monaten Padel-süchtig. Ich war erst skeptisch als ehemaliger Tennisspieler – nach 5 Minuten war ich on fire 🔥. Die Wände bringen ne super weitere Dimension mit rein. Und Doppel macht so viel Spaß, weil auch Kommunikation und Position so entscheidend sind.

Wer spielt hier noch #padel (in #Darmstadt oder #rheinmain )?

Unverhofft vor vier Wochen zu einem neuen Hobby gekommen. Ein Bekannter fragte mich spontan , ob ich #Padel spiele wollte.
Ausprobiert und jetzt Feuer und Flamme.

Es macht so viel Spaß – vor allem auch mit den Wänden. (Und mein altes Tennis-Feeling hilft auch zum Teil, außer beim Smash).

Wer spielt hier noch Padel (in #Darmstadt)?

I wonder why Jakartans picked padel overwhelmingly over pickleball 🤔

I don’t play either (yet?) but padel’s explosion in popularity is a lot like cycling and running. Funny thing is pickleball is far more popular in SEA, so Jakarta is like this weird padel zone.

There are 18 padel places not far from where I live already, all within 40 minute drive. All closer to home than my kid’s school.

I’ve not seen one called Dev Padel, yet. For, you know, software devs.
