In exchange for not being found by any means, we don't get added into #Gargron's latest gimmick to push @Mastodon dot Social over 282,000 Active Users

For that's all this is: Gargron's obsession with "Masto is tooo hard to use" which got dropped on him by the @verge in very early 2023, and he's never recovered

Maybe the #ShortTimers and the #Weekenders need to spend more than 15 minutes on a Saturday so they can learn how #Mastodon works...

@MastodonEngineering I thought packs / collections were supposed to launch with Mastodon v4.6. Does that mean that it is already live on mastodon.social?
If not, can we get some sneak peaks for how it will look and work? Will it also be supported by the mobile apps?

For this week's #MusicWomenWednesday, check out this amazing sounding album 'Melt the Honey' that comes out Friday. The band is PACKS, aka Madeline Link.

These songs have such a cool, lo-fi feel- they reminds me of early Beck songs or maybe quieter Sonic Youth or Sebadoh songs, with Link's cool, unaffected voice and some great lyrics. It's folky and catchy as hell.

'Melt the Honey' comes out Jan 19 (Friday) and it's definitely a contender for my top favorites of this year. Listen/grab it here:
