    ...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR THE PALISADES BURN SCAR IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM
    PST THIS EVENING...

    * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

    * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the Palisades
    Burn SCar in Los Angeles county.

    * WHEN...Until 830 PM PST.

    * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in and below the recent burn area. In
    addition, minor mud and debris flows can be expected.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
    - At 521 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
    to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch
    of rain has fallen.
    - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area in the next 3 hours. This additional rain will
    result in minor flooding.
    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    The Palisades Burn Scar, Eastern Malibu, Topanga State Park,
    Pacific Palisades, Topanga Canyon Road through the Santa
    Monica Mountains and Mandeville Canyon.
