Day 1 of Sowing the Seeds started off with a big picture overview by Michel Bauwens of the #P2PFoundation, and sociologist scholar and labour activist Professor Pun Ngai from the University of Hong Kong. The other thing I keep thinking is that I need to stop using my blogroll as a general link list, and actually links to the blogs of all the projects I've got listed (if they have one). All the link lists need to become part of my project of porting stuff from the #Disintermedia project on #CoActivate to the #P2PFoundation wiki.

@erosdiscordia @axelspireseries good question. I'm just more comfortable promoting causes or group projects. Maybe that's why I persisted with the #Disintermedia identity even when I failed to attract any ongoing collaborators (although I've had a few people help behind the scenes with this and that), and why I'm now orbiting around the #P2PFoundation and contemplating merging my efforts with that.

@wuhei @wolftune @aral actually there are people doing all of those things. You won't hear about them in the corporate news media, for obvious reasons. The #P2PFoundation wiki has lots of info about those sorts of projects. I've summarized the projects at various infrastructure layers here:
