I made this poster design as a bit of a protest over how streaming services have enshittified the entire experience of listening to music. Spurred by the disappearance of tracks from an Apple Music playlist, most likely due to a licensing issue between giant corporations. I know the artists would much rather I be listening to their songs, and paying them directly for the right to do so. #GraphicDesign, #OwnYourMusic, #vinyl, #music, #poster

For those of you who have also been wishing to make your physical media more accessible, this may be a better option than paying your kids to rip your CDs and DVDs

I'm a big proponent of owning #physicalmedia. People think I'm crazy, but in a world of streaming media you have to remember access to your favorite movie, TV show, or album can be taken away at any time without warning. It happens all the time; so much so that news websites publish articles every month about the latest movies coming and going from Netflix. I love my collection of #metal #CDs and #cassettes  and couldn't imagine not having access to them. It's a shame most people don't share this opinion. Hopefully, this will change one day before it's too late.
