I wonder what the contemporary #movie theater's threat model is. Is it “I'll half-watch it on my phone" or “I like to experience movies in #UHD #HDR on my 85” #OLED screen and my 11.2.4 #Atmos sound rig”? I ask because the marketing team for “Project Hail Mary" (loved the book, can't wait to see the movie adaptation) seems to be banking on a "see it in theaters” campaign and is helpfully having its directors explain the half dozen+ theatrical standards we seem to have evolved into.

Incidental #music after the wedding on Saturday.

A very chill acoustic "Take On Me" with Mike on a beautiful #Ovation #guitar and me on the #Ibanez #fretless guessing stick. Not my best playing, but it had been a long day already.

Part of yesterday's coco adventures involved Ultra Edit, the best (imho) DECB text editor.

Problem is, ultra edit isn't emacs, or vi, or wordstar, or even edt. Completely its own thing. I can't ever remember the keys.

I wrote out a cheatsheet but yeah... my writing..

So today i hammered out the cheatsheet in Ovation under RISC OS! Now it's all pretty and readable, and in an 18 point font so I can read it!
