Set up in my calendar is a reminder that on this day, now 9 years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 #Ovarian #cancer Two things about this. I've survived and apparently, I'm a miracle (the odds of survive for ovarian cancer are dire). The other is that it was my husband who set this reminder up in my calendar. Not long after I'd had my diagnosis and was undergoing treatment, he was diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer. 8 years ago, he died. So... yay, I lived to tell tale, but...

Hi, I am Matthew and currently work on #ovarian #cancer with a focus on therapy predictive mutations, genomic scarring biomarkers, and mechanisms of resistance to #PARP inhibitors.
Currently this is involving lots of #FunctionalGenomics with #MAVE assays and #DMS (#DeepMutationalScanning) to dissect protein complex interactions with inhibitors.
