There are a number of games that foster _tension_, but this prompt is **intensity**, so I’m going with _Outgunned_, with its mechanical drives toward cinematic action. As pressure increases, characters are increasingly able and willing to do something outrageous. The rules don’t simulate reality, but the rhythm of an action sequence.

Regole snelle con lo scopo di permettere di ricreare le situazioni tipiche dei film d'azione fracassoni anni 80 e 90. Regola d'oro: mai prendersi troppo sul serio e mettere un pochino da parte le leggi della fisica, un po' come nei suddetti film.
Non l'ho ancora giocato quindi non so quanto ci riesca, ma di certo m'ha fatto venire una gran voglia di provarlo.
Bonus points perché sviluppato da piccolo team italiano.

La lettura del weekend è #outgunned , #rpg ispirato ai film d'azione cazzari anni '80 e '90. I primi capitoli rendono già l'idea di cosa ci aspetta: regole veloci per sessioni spaccone e divertenti ma senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio.

@niq i know you already ordered the books but I would nonetheless recommend a different system than DnD. Maybe take a look at Legend in the Mist, Blades in the Dark, CBR+PNK, Bump in the Dark or something like Outgunned. There are so much more and better Systems out there that are perfect for new people without locking them into the Hasbro/WotC World.

Man kennt sie aus Videospielen und auch im Rollenspiel sind Zwischen- und Endgegner keine Seltenheit. Für #ModernDay Settings kann es schwierig sein, einen speziellen Gegner zu finden.

Am #Wochenende ist endlich die #LindenCon. Für #Outgunned ist alles komplett und ich bin zufrieden. Vor #Conan2D20 habe ich jedoch Respekt. Ich mag das System, aber so ganz regelleicht ist es dann doch nicht. #ImpostorSyndrom kickt ein bisschen rein da 😅 Irgendwie hat man dann doch immer Angst, dass die Leute keine gute Zeit haben, weil man es verkackt. Guten Morgen Fediverse!
Heute und morgen hab ich keine Session, muss dafür aber für nächste Woche drei Sessions vorbereiten, da ich nächste Woche nicht zum Planen und Vorbereiten kommen werde. Also gehts heute und morgen um #outgunned (Piratenabenteuer "Der Fluch von El Dorado"), #DerEineRing2e ("Diebe in Bree") und #Splittermond ("Pastharische Päckchen").
Morgen abend ist dann auch noch der #PnP Stammtisch in #Innsbruck :) Ich bin beschäftigt :) -
Hintergrund ist allerdings cooler: Im #Crowdfunding für das #Rollenspiel #OutgunnedAdventures wurde als Bonussetting - ein sogenannter Action Flick - eines freigeschaltet, das von #DinoCrisis inspiriert ist. Das ganze Projekt ist wieder sehr cool und ich kann nur empfehlen, mal reinzuschauen. 🦖
