    This article explores the benefits of conducting talking therapy in natural outdoor settings, which can reduce stress and improve mood. By integrating therapy with nature, practitioners enhance emotional well-being and encourage open expression. A review of 38 studies involving 322 practitioners and 163 clients outlines best practices and techniques.

    Outdoor therapy ranges from using nature as a calming backdrop to actively incorporating the environment into sessions. While challenges like client suitability and professional training exist, the study highlights its growing potential in mental health care. However, a few limitations were identified such as potential distractions, lack of privacy, and lack of control around weather conditions."
