    Afterwards looking at the analysis I feel my pace was very irregular. Feels right as I did find my thoughts drifting far away from the run. Often had to refocus to get back into the stride. Still it is good sometimes to let thoughts drift and get processed

  13. Another great evening run. Had great power and found myself having long sections where my stride was without heel "dominance". Not sure of words but either toe first or whole foot. When you feel you are already pushing off when your feet hit the ground. Awesome feeling

    A beautiful 7.5 mile hike past Cape Falcon on the #Oregon Coast Trail a few months ago.

    This was a moderate out and back hike with some challenges in the terrain, specifically mud and tree roots along the majority of the trail.

    I broke my ankle last Saturday - skates were on, I stepped onto sloped, wet grass to avoid rolling too fast down the driveway (it was raining a bit), my feet slipped, my left ankle turned in and snapped as I fell hard.

    So yup, that’s that for now. I blame nature, not the skates. 🤣

    Recovery could take several months, though. 😭*SIGH*
