    The new #freshwatercrab #species #Afrithelphusa #outamba and A. #mano were described from #SierraLeone, West Africa, by P. A. Mvogo Ndongo et al. (2026). The #genus, with previously only four known species, has now six. The authors also present an #identificationkey. A #phylogenetictree based on two #mtDNA loci (COI/16S rRNA) confirmed that these species are distinct.
