This year on the shores of #LakeOntario, the winter solstice is at 10:27pm EST on the evening of December 21st. Sunrise on the 22nd is at 7:48am. Let's welcome the sun back after the longest night, as we do: by getting in absurdly cold water!

Solo Swims of Ontario this year, but that was eclipsed by the incredible swimmers recognized at the #SoloSwims Annual awards at Niagara-on-the-Lake, including the extraordinary Elizabeth Fry, who has now completed a marathon swim in each of #OurGreatLakes, Maggie Regan's route-record, and Sean Nuttall's 100km double crossing of #LakeOntario, a fitting honour to the legacy of Canadian #MarathonSwimming legend, Vicki Keith. Great swimming everyone! -
