Thinking about just how weird it is that the English dub of Ouran High School Host Club also has dubbed op and ed songs.
They must’ve thought that’d do better with the target demographic of 12 year-old girls…? I guess they had the right idea, it sure was a hit in my intermediate school. :gutkato_hihias: -
On the OTHER hand....the single mix of "Shissou" from "Daze & Hope" is a lot more rough, and doesn't show off the percussion that well; but the "rawness"(?) of this mix shows off the guitar and bass REALLY well; you can hear the bassist move his hand around on the fingerboard too, which is pretty cool 🙏

whoever mic'd the drums and whoever did the album mix of "Shissou" by LAST ALLIANCE did a nice job to show off the drums, it shows REALLY well in the breakdown, the thump of the bass drum gives me life, the tambourines sparkle and shine, I love it 👀
