@ZenHeathen @alessandro @jd The #OttawaCitizen used to sell those full wraps (four pages), but people would just throw the whole sheet into the recycle. Now, at most three - there's always one page of actual content, usually inside the back page.

Regarding #CanadianElection and voting…
#OttawaCitizen headline says "Frustrated voters have posted complaints on social media of long lineups and delays at the advance polling sites."
Mostly I've seen people describing queues but nobody really expressing "frustration" or complaining.
Of course we'll note the differences relative to prev years. And those who've managed complex processes can't help but ponder causes, but people seem only very good-natured and eager to participate so far.

The Ottawa Citizen newspaper reports:
“Wastewater testing for the H5N1 bird flu virus is set to begin in the coming weeks in Ontario communities considered at high risk, said Rob Delatolla, whose University of Ottawa lab will lead the wastewater surveillance as part of a research program based at the University of Guelph. That will likely mean testing wastewater in communities in agricultural regions of the province. It is unclear whether there will also be testing in larger cities. . .
There is currently no widespread wastewater testing program for H5N1 avian influenza in Canada, as there is in the U.S.”

I see #Alberta is spending their taxpayer's money on expensive ad buys again. The front and inside pages in today's #OttawaCitizen was filled with their pitch for #Ottawa to drop its production cap so they can keep pumping their dirty crude. Can't have been cheap.
No doubt it will give #PierrePoilievre's #AxeTheTax campaign a boost as well. -
@CAWguy The same wrap was on the #OttawaCitizen Friday (also a #PostMedia publication). I guess #TheGlobeAndMail is a bit too classy to sell advertising like this.

Nice to see all the thoughtful letters to the editor today in the Ottawa Citizen condemning Lansdowne 2.0. This just means Mr. Beige pants will force it through anyway (Strong mayor power)

What do you mean "vehicle falls off Queensway"? Like it was finally ripe and the was a light breeze? Or maybe it was climbing with its friends and took a tumble?
Somebody fucked up and launched a tonne of steel and plastic off a highway.

Every year we set up a 1950's #LionelTrain to run under the Christmas tree. It is made up of both our father's childhood sets. The train is wrapped in the #OttawaCitizen from 1987. #ottawa #OttawaMemories
