Yes, more #JackJeanne fan art… apologies, I just can't help myself. ;__;

This time someone requested a sketch of Mary Jane looking happy. Mary Jane is the AJ/Protagonist of the Autumn play in JJ, it's very Hallowe'en-coded so it's a perfect subject for October. ^^ A couple of my favourite songs from the game come from this play, if you want a good one to help you get into the spoopy season check this one out:

I had a lot of fun drawing this! :da_love:

…aaaaand another sketch of Fumi. This one was also requested by a friend on the JJ Discord; they specifically wanted to see Fumi blushing. X) I was more than happy to oblige!

The pose isn't as interesting as my last Neji sketch, but I'm proud of myself for doing another full body drawing regardless. I wonder if I'll ever get bored of drawing these characters…

Another quick sketch of Neji. Really pleased with the pose on this one, and I even managed to clean it up fairly well. :3 Requested by a friend on the JJ fan discord I frequent. Any excuse to draw more Neji is fine with me!! <3

A couple more #JackJeanne portraits from the past couple of nights. Once more leaning heavily on one of my favourite inking brushes, @FRENDEN's Nib Gritty Inker. :da_love:

This is my first time drawing both Kai, and Mitsuki. I'm hoping to finish all of the main Quartz folks in a similar style, we'll see how I do. :da_sweat:

Aaaah, I just can't get these characters out of my mind… sorry, folks. X) But hey, at least they're inspiring me to draw at all!

One of these days I'll draw Neji with the sex appeal he deserves, but I just can't resist the dorky adorable weirdo aesthetic. :da_sweat:

A recent Fumi + Neji sketch I whipped up the other night. Even just doing this much was exhausting… x___x But I'm so glad I did it!

So much love for these two (yes, I ship them; check out my recent fanfics on Ao3!), and every other character in #JackJeanne. :da_love:

Sorry for being a little quieter recently… I've actually been doing a *ton* of writing. Yet more #JackJeanne fan fiction. :D I know, I know, I'm insatiable… Two of the ones I finished last week have already been published, I'm working on a third one now.

It's become a series, now. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ Neji/Fumi shenanigans galore! If you're interested, you can find the series on Ao3 here:

Did a bunch of sketching tonight, including my first Nightshade fan art. My boi Kuroyuki, the softest yandere. :hearthands:

(Could also count as an illo from my fan fic, if I could finish it a little more… :3 )

I ran out of spoons when it came to drawing his kimono & hakama, apologies. Maybe when I've rested a bit I can come back to it…

Second Volume of Court of Darkness “Captivation’s Kiss” Launches April 24

Some shameless self-promotion for my #otomegame #visualnovel blog here.

https://otome-lycoris.com

I want to implement content warning lists for audience with triggers, considering it’s a very niche hobby and lists like those aren’t really readily accessible. (Fortunately I do enjoy darker content so I use this shitty super power to help others, I guess.)

Apart from that I’ll also be doing reviews of mainly Japanese Otome titles I’ve played and I’m trying to focus on those that have been picked up for localisation into english, so people can get a feeling for the games before making a decision to buy.

If that sounds like something you enjoy, please pay me a visit. My husband also worked hard on some polling and rating plugins considering the Wordpress landscape is a lot of subscriptions … if you like the plug-ins stay tuned because my dear 3D husband plans on making them public in the future. ♥️

I am... kinda interested. They are expensive as fuck but the number of characters... I think it might be worth it (when it gets a liiiiitle cheaper)

Birushana: Winds of Fate Launching May 26th on Nintendo Switch

One post that isn’t about FOSDEM! But another “convention” - RejetFes.
#otomegames

Apparently #Rejet has finally decided to pick up the long awaited #ドリコの図書艦 (Dorico no Toshokan/Dorico’s Library)
The game had been announced almost 10 years ago for PSVita… and then rejet ghosted us about it, effectively. Today at a presentation at RejetFes they announced that the game will finally be coming! (For both #steam and #nintendoswitch )

Like most Rejet titles, it’ll be Japanese only. But I’m super excited the company finally seems to be back on track porting their old works to switch (black wolves saga, Alice=Alice,…)

Staff: there seems to be no staff changes from what I can pinpoint. the art will be provided by Yoshinaga, scenario will be written by Nakayama Satomi (Shuuen no Virche, Code:Realize, Mistonia no Kibou…).

#otomegame #gaming #rejetfes

Currently playing: #neonclash the new #otomegame #visualnovel published by voltage and developed by #amulit

It’s a really gripping tale so far. The (kind of?) almost kinetic style of the game is a very interesting take if you’re used to your standard otomate title. Opens up a lot of different ways to go about storytelling and connections between the characters. I also love that they don’t mindlessly gloss over the cruelty of mafia. I have some gripes with this game but I’m really looking forward to writing my review on this one soon! Amulit has been popping off recently with their console titles, I’m really excited about sins of Kaleido, too.
