And that was SW1TCHBL4D3 by BOYZTEETH! You are listening to Otherside Community Radio, it is... Early in the morning (I don't know where my watch is) and I sure hope you aren't on your way to Bismarck. Not only because Bismarck sucks, but because I can see all the way from the studio that the highway is more jammed that our signal the last couple of weeks. Speaking of that, the eggheads here at Otherside Polytechnic Institute are very certain that the kids Bismarck College are the ones jamming out signal. Greg, we know it's you, cut it out or I am personally going to... oh wait, I can't say that on the radio... I guess it'll be a surprise, haha!

In other news, it looks like Clown Season is about to begin! That's right, a circus caravan has started building their tent south of Miller Memorial Park, by Enzo's arcade. A rather smartly dressed clown gave me a pamphlet on the way to station explaining this circus doesn't use animals in their performances because of ethical concerns, but that they more than make up for it with their performers' skillful performances— and then he threw a pie at my face, which while mildly annoying it was also convenient because I forgot to have breakfast this morning. Thank you, Mr clown-guy.

And now for some news about Bismarck [BOOING TRACK] yeah, yeah, we know! Their new mayor, Mr Edmund, it's trying to pull a Toronto on us; he wants to turn the entire Bismarck Metro area, which does include out beloved Otherside-of-the-Railroad-Tracks, or Otherside for short, into a part of the part of the their city! Can you believe the gall of this guy?? I know I am not supposed to talk about politics on this show, but GOODNESS, I can speak for most people this side of the tracks that we do not want to be a part of your city, Mr Edmund. We urge our listeners to call the Bismarck mayoral office at [NUMBER] to urge him to stop this nonsense at once! Again, call [NUMBER] to tell the Bismarck mayor to get lost!

  5. Good morning! You are listening to Otherside Community Radio!

We've got a message from Joan, head librarian at the Otherside public library. She's declared "amnesty" on late return fees to people who return their books before the end of next month! She also added that, quote, "If you bring more books than what you borrowed, be they from a personal collection... *cough* or from the Bismarck Metropolitan Library *cough*... I will give you some cute stationery, and I'll even let you take any two items you want from the lost-and-found bin!", unquote... As a public service announcement, I would like to remind you all that Joan collects medieval weaponry and torture devices, so surrendering your books back to the public library is preferable to whatever she has in mind.

In somewhat related news, Camilo, the groundskeeper at Miller Memorial Park, would like to state that, quote, "You can technically take the ducks from the pond as they are public property, but please make sure to return them to the pond before sunset", unquote. Park goers responded to his request with: "it's not a real rave without the ducks, you know? it's not the same."

Lastly, some of you might have noticed this already, but Bismarck has built their bicycle lanes on the opposite side of the road to ours, which wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately we share a border with them. The Metropolitan Council is debating on whether or not to build a small "overpass" to join the two lanes. Council member J. Watkins stated, quote, "If we tell them to do that, one of them is going to do the complete opposite out of spite, I just know it. We are going to end up with half an overpass and half an underpass at city limits. You all can't be trusted with anything!"

That's the news for now. Coming up, Blue Foster's "I'll Teach You Every Move I Know" album. See you later!
