New Manga Read - Otaku Elf, Volume 11
Volume 11 of this series continues to be low stakes and chill. This volume, Elda and her Miko visit Osaka for a festival ran by her fellow elf Yorde. It's a fire based festival and it rains, so they work together to make due.
Again, it's low stakes, slice of life of an elf being treated like a goddess who is a massive introvert. It's fun, silly, and a quick read.
Also, Elda saying she people'd too much cause she's such an introvert? I get it.

It's slice of life about a geeky elf who is the local deity for a small temple and her miko (Shrine Maiden). ach volume has some random history stuff about the Edo period of Japanese history lesson mixed in with modern slice of life.
It's chill.

Just re-upped some previous Otaku Elf pics I posted. Including an attempt at recreating a cover in Animal Crossing.
It's a fun, chill series.
When I first got into it, I told my kids the name and they first thought I said "Taco Elf" and, honestly, I'd read that series if it were real.

It's day to day life of the elf not wanting to go out much, playing games, talking about her past as she has lived a long, long life, and day to day stuff of our miko as she is in school.
It's a mix of Japanese history lesson with about their culture in the past with slice of life.
It's very chill. And I appreciate that.
Anyway, enjoyed it. Will probably enjoy Volume 9 whenever it drops.

So, I decided to take a stab at recreating another manga cover in Animal Crossing
This time, I went with Otaku Elf, Volume 6. I figured I could try to get the angle and the room setup with Gloria and Shino serving as Koito and Elda, respectively.
Making the screenshot LOOK like a manga cover was...harder. But, I like it!
If only I had any Photoshop skills at all...
