Out of the few photo shoots I managed at #Otakon2022, the one with Kai Tak and Coast Husky was my favorite. I'm still editing photos, but I should have my gallery up in a few days. I'm home from #Otakon2022. I skipped the convention venue in favor of taking pictures for and of two of my friends while they were in fursuit. The numbers for this year's Otakon were wild. Last year there were around 27K attendees. This year it was 40K. No wonder the lines were so long and the staff were taken by surprise. #NoMoa

The Discotek panel was a lot of fun. Urusei Yatsura and Sherlock Hound were my favorite announcements from this panel. #Otakon2022

Otakon has been so busy that it's just easier for me to attend panels at night, after the huge crowds have gone. I'm pleased that I made it into the Discotek panel. I missed last year's, so this year should be fun. #Otakon2022

The upside for taking a bit of time to eat brunch before going to the convention center is short lines. Everyone is in line. Heh. #Otakon2022

I'm pleased, I found cosplay from Shin Megami Tensei: Stange Journey at the SMT fan panel this morning. I've been hoping to see someone in a Demonica for over a decade at a con. I didn't have my big camera with me, thankfully cellphones are handy. #otakon2022 #SMTStrangeJourney

The first day of #otakon2022 went pretty well. It was a bit frustrating that pre-reg badge pick up was closed on early on Thursday night, but getting it on Friday morning wasn't too bad. Nevertheless, this is the busiest I've seen Otakon in years.

Plans to stay in DC for @[email protected] this weekend did not happen.

But that won't keep me from attending for a short amount of time today and tomorrow. Getting ready to head down in an hour or 2.
