I gave up few months before I started streaming on twitch and just relegated this game to be my "spotify". I don't have spotify anyway and I refuse to start using any subscription service.
This game's tied to the fucking people who betrayed me back then so I make it difficult to play this game intentionally. I exclusively only play on AR 11 and sometimes I'd jack both HP and OD to 11 in standard, which make the timing very tight and the HP drain way fast
For mania I used to jack OD and HP to 11, but the max OD was extended in mania so now I put it to 15 in 4K and 11 in 7K. Sometimes I'd also jack HP to 11 just to make things difficult for me. Everytime I don't get an "Excellent" there's a chip damage to my HP.
Idk. I'm just hoping I stop playing it this game, but I honestly enjoy chilling and vibing with music..
Besides, Spotify's ridden with "AI" music slop, right ? Like idk Deviantart ? lol

downtempo with daycore mod, later on halftime mod at 0.5x. its gonna be so fucking chill you will fall asleep really fast if you "submit" to the vibe. this is the kind of music that truly makes me feel good. sub 60 bpm so it's north pole levels of chill

It's kinda weird listening to Linkin Park now. I still put it up from time to time whenever I play osu.
It was kinda relevant to me when I can still truly "feel". I mean I can still feel. I just don't feel like they're true at all.
I think something really broke in me when I knew I couldn't rely on my parents for idk, emotional support anymore. It feels like I'm just "emulating" emotions now to make sure I don't stand out strange to people out there

I just reached the Top 7500 #osumania (#osulazer) players in the Philippines and Top 175,000 in the world!
For not being able to play for a long time due to reviewing for the Chemical Engineering Licensure Exam, I surprisingly still retain the skill I had before the break plus some improvement. This much progress in 8 days from being placed #659,766 to #173,539...
Sometimes, I'm still amazed at what humans can do. To think that at my current level I'm processing a lot of information in one second, as well as significant training in my reaction time, pattern recognition, and hand-to-eye coordination. How much more to those who are at the top of the leaderboards? They seem to be on a whole another plane of human ability — almost unbelievable.

cavoe's osu! event is next month and I'm already trying to prepare my laptop since I'm taking it with me. Started downloading a lot of maps and I encountered this amusing rate-limitation error.
Just thought I'd share because I don't think many of you have seen it before. I certainly haven't.

So, I've been playing the original mode of Osu!, after exclusively playing mania, and let me tell you I'm super proud of my very rapid learning curve. In only two days, I managed to go from F grades in below 1 star beatmaps to convincing B and A grades in 3 star beatmaps. Currently, I'm attempting to complete my first 4 star beatmap. Though I only managed to get 50% in. In the meantime I also learned the alternate finger play style, some people suggested me to do it, as it is less straining on my fingers.
Any other recommendations from more experienced players?

Yeah, it is the thing i kinda worried about, #wayland doesn't perform that well with my hardware at all, i mean, the system itself is working fine, i think, but #osuLazer Doesn't work well at all under it, idk if that's a problem with the game or it's really the combination of wayland + my pc, but still, i guess now there's not much i can do about it...
