Holy shit, I managed to install the #Hispeedido #HDMI thingmabob for the #Nintendo64 and IT'S BLOODY WORKING! :-) It was a bit of a nightmare soldering it to what I believe is the GPU and I wasn't sure what to expect. Where the graphics of the NES and SNES would probably be crystal sharp since it's mostly 2D, the Nintendo 64 was the early days of 3D on the console, and textures and effects are honestly not that sharp.

While the HDMI board probably offers a little more sharpness, it offers much richer colors and no color bleeding. It also offers convenience - no need for a TV that has a #SCART port or an #upscaler device. I do have several of the latter ones though, and worth noting is that the #OSSC device probably won't help you, since it doesn't like the N64's composite video signal.

Sound is included in the #HDMI signal, and so far it's pretty awesome! :-) What should I play first?

Tras configurar dos tipos de resolución de la Nintendo 64, que lo de los juegos con blur tiene tela, ya he conseguido configurar la Super Nintendo.

Unos suaves scanlines y el Donkey Kong Country 2 se ve de lujo.

Esta 64 es francesa con el mod de RGB, y la SNES me la modificaron en TecVia en su momento.

Pues esto es lo que me tuvo dos días confinado en casa para que llegara el mensajero, OSSC. Un escalador de imágenes analógico digital.

Hay que configurarlo muy bien, hay por internet bastantes settings listos. Pero este ha conseguido una nitidez en la Nintendo 64 que me ha dejado muy sorprendido ^^

First impressions of the #OSSC #upscaler (v1.8) connected to an #Enterprise64 through a SCART cable. Looks good so far - picture is sharper and there is a lot less color bleed than on a cheap noname device.

Anyone a bit more clued-up about video signals than I am, can you help solve this one?
I have my retro computers connected to my Decklink card via my OSSC. The Decklink seems okay with other systems (N64 and PS1 both tested) but all I get from my computers is this sort of thing. Very flickery and obviously not suitable for use otherwise!
