🎉We did it!
Thanks to the amazing support from the #QGIS community, both the initial €6000 goal and the extended €7000 goal have been achieved.
Native #hydrology tools and the new flow direction & wind barb renderers will land in QGIS 4.4.
Thank you to everyone who contributed! 💚More info about the features that will be implemented by @northroadgeo and @lutraconsulting: https://www.qwast-gis.com/l/crowdfunding-native-qgis-tools-for-hydrology/

🎉Today we've reached the €6000 goal for native hydrology tools in #QGIS. Thank you🫶
This means that @northroadgeo can implement these tools so you can use them in QGIS 4.4🚀
📢 With 2 weeks left, we’re aiming for an extended goal of €7000 to add native flow direction & wind barb renderers for raster layers. If successful, this will be implemented by @lutraconsulting.

I submitted my talk proposal for #foss4guk2026 today - just in time for the deadline. Two of my colleagues have also submitted proposals - we're all excited for the conference.
(And, coincidentally, I've started work today on the thing I'm proposing to present at the conference... And it's going fairly well so far! Just got another couple of months to polish it off!)
