I'm going to top the argument about 'maybe large language models don't have to do #OpenScience because not everyone has the resources to do so' and say

Maybe we don't need all of these models at all, since only very large organisations and companies are leading these developments..

At #OSFAIR2023, Giulia Malaguarnera presents @graspos project during the workshop "Monitoring Open Science in the context of incentives and rewards for Open Science", and mentions us and the role of open citations for the creation of #reproducible metrics for #researchassessment exercises.
👉 The researchers from #OpenCitations and @unibo are contributing to #GraspOS by developing a tool for extracting citation data from PDFs, with additional information through #machinelearning systems.
