Massimo Dallamano’s superb 1970 The Secret of Dorian Gray claims to be a modern allegory inspired by Wilde’s novel The Picture of Dorian Gray rather than an adaptation but while it's been updated to contemporary times it is in fact a reasonably sound adaptation.
This is 1970 decadence, and very decadent it is.
Helmut Berger is the definitive screen Dorian Gray.
