Back in the 90s I worked in a small bookstore in SF. The owner (who died in '95 or so) told a story of man he knew or knew of who seduced Lord Alfred Douglas in Douglas' old age because it was as close as one could get to being with #oscarwilde I developed a much greater interest in Wilde later, and wish I could remember who the heck boss was referring to.
Anyone here on the fedi know who this might have been? (It's very possible it was a friend of the boss, so...) -
