Watched "The Seed of the Sacred Fig" yesterday and loved it. The movie is set around the "Woman, Life, Freedom" protests in Iran after the regime murdered Mahsa Amini in 2022. It portraits the moral corruption of those working for the regime and mirrors society by displaying tensions in one family. The movie is currently in movie theaters and is nominated for an Academy Award as Best Foreign Language film. Highly recommended!
