It’s been a little while since my last post. So finally have a Technics SL1210 Mk2 from MasterSounds and now fitted with an Ortofon 2M Red and using a Teac TA-TS30UN platter mat.
This then feeds into my Graham Slee Communicator Gram Amp 2 and then to a Graham Slee Novo Headphone Amp.

Deze alom bekende elementen voor #platenspelers (made by #Ortofon) zijn altijd thuis (en dus rookvrij) gebruikt. De naalden zijn rond de zomer vervangen, de cellen zien er nog als gloednieuw uit.
De set (2 stuks dus) wordt in principe verkocht zonder #headshell, maar als het echt nodig is om die mee te leveren, dan komen we er wel uit.Verzenden mogelijk (via Homerr-afhaalpunten).

Ortofon Blue cartridge mounted and aligned! My biggest fear of snapping the wire from the connector has been averted. Note tiny needle nose pliers are a must. But there’s a new complication… My tone arm counterweight is now too light so I can’t set tracking force. Hoping a 10g larger weight will solve the problem. I am ensure whether a heavier anti-skate weight is needed now. #ortofon #ortofonblue #audiophile #turntable #analogaudio #pro_ject #audioupgrade
