Orphan Black: Echoes finished its first season on AMC+. I've watched it all now and am ready to share some thoughts on this science thriller led by Krysten Ritter and Keeley Hawes.

I love that they had a deaf character and used sign language throughout.
Sad that we lost Wes by about the halfway point.
I think elements were, possibly, better explored in Pantheon, but Orphan Black Echoes did tackle some other elements well. That Pantheon didn’t touch…
I think it’s brave of them to end with a cliffhanger given the ways shows just get cancelled…

Well… I’m not convinced it needed to be tied to Orphan Black, and the ties actually undermined it. Despite showing Kira’s motivations, I don’t think she would have done it in the first place…
I’m confused about how a medical scan can pick up enough brain structure to replicate skills (language etc.) but not memory - you’d print a newborn in an adult body…
