@beep @jonhicks i went to a William Gibson reading/book signing event in manchester when i was at uni. he was chit-chatting with some of the people in line. i was so starstruck that i blurted out something about how his works have been very inspirational. he utterly blanked me. then proceeded to chit-chat with the next person behind me. added him to my nascent "what a cunt" list... #originStory
