@dougcoulson I can add an interesting corollary. There was a plan to develop the Yorkshire village of #Ravenscar as a small holiday report, but the initiative failed. Interestingly, the proposed street layout made it onto the 1910 #UK #ordnancesurvey map. This link shows the unbuilt town in all its imagined glory.
