April is Spy Ordnance Month: Introducing the Sedgley, the Office of Strategic Services’ single shot .38 caliber glove pistol. The gun’s trigger bar protrudes from the front of the device when the gloved hand is made into a fist. Very few of the weapons were manufactured and it is uncertain if the gun saw much actual wartime use. (1/3)

Demining crews found dozens of mines that were intentionally placed and others that were unexploded ordnance due to a technical malfunction among the rubble of houses.
According to the head of the bomb disposal department, the volume of unexploded ordnance weighs about 9,000 tons.
