But that doesn’t mean that the only alternative is that it’s something “we came up with.” While it has taken different forms based on culture and legal systems, marriage is something God created and the basic elements of it, the intent and pattern of it, are found in #scripture. It is never same-sex in the Bible, always hetero. I would say that marriage is #ordained.
