I am still absolutely terrible at both blending and basing, but I think I am slowly getting a hang about edge highlighting and gaining some brush control (I know it is nothing special, but I am very proud of the tiny free-hand on the green orc's shield).

The Otago Regional Council is switching from from first past the post, to STV (single transferable vote) for this year’s council elections. This aligns with the DCC system which has been working well for years.
Prof Janine Hayward has some good advice.
"After first past the post (FPP), there was a tendency among some people to rank every single candidate on the ballot sheet, but really that’s unnecessary."

That said, I'm trying to get better at rapidly making throwaway characters without being too fussy about them, like these folks that I made for the show's intro sequence.
The good thing is I can use resources I normally steer clear of because they lack flexibility (like hair that can only be used when the head is upright)
The bad thing is I get attached to them! How cute are those gnome babes?! They deserve a spinoff!

I was inspired by @AngeloFalls when he started to post sketches of his #WrestlerOC characters. I even got my own pretend fed, #WarbandWrestling! So I dug into my archives to find how many of these wrestler OCs (that are NOT Zeiros - Warband is more of a D&D fantasy sort of thing). Aaaaand... only three!? Like I did a bunch of Orctober stuff with the setting, but those aren't MY characters, so I'm not going to count them.
I'll have to fix that at some point. I'd love to do a crossover with Angelo's PAW fed sometime!
