Una de mis quejas históricas de la industria española de la bici es la falta de bicis urbanas* (para mi:disponibilidad de cuadro bajo para todas las alturas+cambio interior+portaequipajes/posibilidad de cesta). Aunque estoy contento con la bici que tengo de vez en cuando ojeo que hay. Y tengo que decir que está es la primera vez que he visto un modelo urbano que cumpla estos requisitos. En este caso en #Orbea en la serie Vector 10

So - heute einmal schmal unterwegs. Jetzt 7km später denke ich mir, dass ich das Ding öfter bewegen sollte. Die SPD Clickies sind runter und wurde durch irgendwelche Pedale ersetzt. Ich glaube ich brauche irgendwann einen Satz Dualpedale. Hat da jemand einen Tipp? #fahrrad #orbea

Frage an die #fahrradbubble Ich suche für ein #Orbea Terra H30 eine #smartphonehalterung am Vorbau. Lenker geht nicht, da dort bereits Licht und Klingel montiert sind. Beim gelben A bin ich auf eine Halterung von JOYROOM gestoßen. Taugt die was? Oder gibt es andere/bessere?

That was fast! A prototype appeared only 2 weeks back at the Nove Mesto XCO Worldcup and today it already is officially launched - the all new Orbea Oiz.

Eine #Genossenschaft denkt anders, handelt anders, plant und entfaltet seine Wirkung anders. Der Geschäftsbericht von #Orbea liest sich, wie eine Utopie:
• Vertriebsstrategie mit selbstständigen Händler*innen, auch weil sie einen „wesentlichen Beitrag zum Kaufprozess und zur Förderung des Radfahrens in seinen Gemeinden“ leisten
• begrenzte Einkommensspreizung: 4,2 zu 1 zwischen höchstem und niedrigstem Gehalt
- Gewinne werden im Unternehmen gesichert

Und die Fahrräder machen Spaß.

Mit dem Fahrrad zum Familientag unseres Grüne-Stadtverbands geradelt, um die hungrige Meute nach ihrer Wanderung zu begrillen. Es war ein sehr gelungener Tag im Wald.

Winter bike finally ready. Originally thought I could make the original mechanical disc brakes work by replacing the cables. They were however too corroded to be saved.

When I put the rear wheel back on, the derailleur hanger snapped, it was severely corroded as well. That is the most annoying thing to break on a bike since there are so many variations. At one point I thought that was the end of the bike and then I found a shop with the right on in stock.

Oh, I was unable to get the part of the hanger mounted to the derailleur off so I had to replace that as well.

When putting the chain back on I realised that the crank wasn’t spinning freely. Scratch that, I would probably spend 50W-75W just to turn that.

Now, my Orbea Carpe that started its life with a 1x7 drivetrain has a full Shimano Cues 1x11 speed drivetrain and good hydraulic brakes.

Back to commuting by bike again.
