Managed to get an Articuno from the GTS as well. This concludes filling the national dex, sans a few events. I'm lacking Mew and (apparently) Diancie.

Managed to nab a tornadus frorm the GTS and caught landorus. Only the kanto birds and mew left to finish my gen6 living dex!

Progress report: Registered Staravia, Levanny, Ambipom, Lopunny, Mismagius, Lumineon. Going for the simple fodder still.

Filled out the gen3 boxes, gen2 and gen6 are already filled, lacking Mew and the birds for gen1, gen4 will be done once I evolve the other staravia and grind BP for the electrizer/magmarizer, after which I can focus on gen5.

I really didn't leave a lot left to complete back in 2016

Being back playing #pokemon #oras for a while again and filling up the remainder of the dex I definitely remember why I really enjoyed this entry and consider it a really solid one: There's a lot to do in the region after beating the game, and it ties in very neatly with postgame grinding. I think I've revisited just about every corner of the region just training new pokemon, visiting secret bases, farming berries and rebattling trainers, where in other games I'd just stick to one spot.

Wonder trading an entire box of breedjects in #pokemon #ORAS while watching bad #anime and sipping a can of energy is a mood I had completely forgotten, but I'm somehow glad to be able to relive during the final days of the #nintendo network service for #3ds

@scottjenson #faucet #design is one of my pet peeves. I mean this is a usability thing that has basically been solved (either the old Finnish #Oras design, or two separate knobs for temp and pressure). Great! Human ingenuity can now spend effort elsewhere, you might think. Except seemingly those minds like to come up with a whole array of ever more convoluted designs that are all simply inferior.

@jcuff there are also much simpler ways to take advantage of an OCI registry. We can already push custom artifact types via #ORAS "OCI Registry as Storage" and (as an example) one can retrieve an artifact manifest, and selectively download the pieces that are needed. This is what we do for conda mirrors, as an example https://github.com/channel-mirrors/conda-oci-mirror. This is also more declarative (which I believe better for provenance)! But I haven't looked closely at this, so definitely excited to learn more.
