Well, the answer is simple... Oppressed are proud of their #root because of what their #ancestors did, how they #survived, #fought and #raised them despite of everything #against them... While the ancestors of oppressors gave that pride away because of their #Criminal activities of taking advantage of their #status created by oppression.

III. Judging a largely #peaceful use of 1st amendment based on activities of a #minority who are #violent, while #denying the largely #violent presence of #police at that #protest, is #speaking as an #oppressor. -

We must always take sides. #Neutrality helps the #oppressor, never the #victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men or women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must – at that moment – become the center of the universe.
