#PersonalWin from last weekend: a 2 mile #OpenWaterSwim across the local lake in a little over an hour. Had a great time and/but am ready for moar speed. I’d like to shave 15 mins off (at least!) and finish under an hour. Personal trainer: found! First lesson: this Friday! Let’s 🏊🏻!

Good Morning Peeps :)
Out at 6am for an Open water swim...650 metres (Breaststroke.)
The Mediterranean was cool and calm today, with just one other swimming regular that I see out there.
It's kinda strange when you're quite away from the land, and it's just you and open water, and though the sea is peaceful, it is also quite noisy in its own calming way.
Now a large bowl of fruit and Greek yogurt...so hungry!

The open water swim from Faulensee to Spiez went pretty good. There was a constant headwind, but swimming the other direction would have presented some logistical issues with the SUPs. Water was refreshing on a hot day like this.

Absolutely gorgeous #openwaterswim swim this morning at #CombsReservoir near #WhaleyBridge in #derbyshire. Localised low-lying cloud was lifting as we arrived, creating a beautiful, atmospheric scene as we walked down to the swim point. Water was 8.5C but it seemed much warmer in the sunshine so we enjoyed a fantastic 20 minute dip.
