For anyone using a long/background connected Bluetooth device with #grapheneos , in my case a Whoop4.0 band (with #OpenStrap), and having it disconnect and fail to reconnect with full repair dance, I've had some success with disabling battery optimisation for the Bluetooth 'System'.
