Germany has a lot of roads called "Sackgasse" (dead-end road).

However, some of them have no dead ends at all. What a scam!

I've challenged myself to find them and used the resulting #Overpass query as an example in my workshop today at @FrOSCon.

Question: Is there a way of displaying _only_ specific terrain features with #OpenSteetMap ?

I.e. "only forests", "only railroads", and so forth?

The developers of https://sherpa-map.com announced [0] their "best gravel/cycling focused Map to route you adventures on", based on #OpenSteetMap data and inspired by #CyclOSM [1].

The map has been rendered globally, but the following regions are usable down to zoom level: 16

Traurig und nervig, wie viele Dienste auf #OpenSteetMap basieren, aber nichts zurück geben.

Mein heutiges Beispiel: Wahrscheinlich schickt mich Öffi zur falschen Haltestelle, weil eine Brücke in OSM noch nicht als Baustelle eingetragen ist.

Ich kann nicht prüfen, ob VVO das Routing auf OSM basiert. Ich weiß, dass deren Webseite OSM zur Darstellung nutzt.

Samstagmorgen im Ferienort?
Wind? Wolken? Bisschen Sonne?
Ganz klar, raus aus der Koje, rein in die Klamotten & auf die Straße! #StreetComplete hat Fragen. Viele Fragen!
Nach gut 30 Minuten sind es nun circa 90 weniger aber es warten noch, geschätzt, Hunderte darauf beantwortet zu werden. Hauptsächlich Haustypbestimmungen aber auch Fragen zur Barrierefreiheit von Fussgängerüberwegen oder Hydrantdetails.
Über saisonbedingte Öffnungszeiten stolpere ich noch.
